Carolyn Marie Souaid

Carolyn Marie Souaid, a talented local poet and author of Paper Oranges, also visited our classes to do poetry workshops.

Endre Farkas, author of Quotidien Fever, graced our halls this month also.  He has a lot to say about life through poetry.

Swift Years and Belfast Andi

Belfast Andi and Swift Years visited PSL on Monday bright and early.  Apparently we were the best audience they had had all day.  Thanks Andi, Bob, Patrick and Suzanne.

No Small Potatoes is about the importance of community and food safety. It's an eclectic look at the effects of factory farming and genetic modification on us and our food. It combines research, interviews, and personal narrative.  http://pattimccurdy/nosmallpotatoes/ is the model site for the ongoing Potato Project in my grade 8 Enriched English classes.
